Welcome to gladeskywarn© Site. This site provides SkyWarn® Spotter information, weather information with live weather radar and alerts for all visitors with special attention for the Glades area of Palm Beach and surrounding counties on Lake Okeechobee.

We are located in the city of Belle Glade on Lake Okeechobee. The National Weather Service (NWS) and the Palm Beach SkyWarn program are looking for Glades area spotters. Many of the weather systems that affect south florida,  originate around Lake Okeechobee.

To provide enhanced timley warnings to developing severe weather systems, we ask you to consider becoming a certified SkyWarn Spotter. The training is free and will help protect you, your property and loved ones.  

Are you an amateur radio operator? SkyWarn needs you. Not only can you provide weather information, you can serve your community via all weather communications. 

Although we are National Weather Service certified SkyWarn® Spotters, this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA or the NWS
